With the drop in prices and so many homes refinanced out to 100% of value of more over the last few years, I think we are going to be seeing short sales as common place for a while to come. Interestingly enough, I am still seeing developers break ground on new projects. Either they are needing to keep moving to fulfill loan arrangements or they are optimistic about the coming months.
